About
I have been photographing people in Riga for over a decade.
Most of my work happens in the ten minutes after someone stops performing for the camera. That is the frame I am waiting for.
My background is in fashion and beauty — editorial, lookbooks, model portfolios — but the approach carries over to any portrait: soft, controlled light, few people on set, and enough time that nobody feels rushed.
I shoot in my own studio in Riga, on location across Latvia, and travel for campaigns. Shoots run in English, Latvian or Russian. Every job leaves with a retouched, colour-graded delivery you can put straight into print or a feed.
